HANDCRAFTED AND HAND PAINTED
The car’s most distinguishing feature has to be an enormous crimson heart, sprayed entirely by hand on the Continental Yellow bonnet of the car. The grille surround is painted in a vivid Fuscia pink, bursting forth from the St Luke’s Blue bodywork like a neon sign in the night. All around the car, the lower bodywork is finished in British Racing Green – a nod to Bentley’s motorsport heritage.
Like any convertible, the interior of the car will often be visible to onlookers – all the more reason to make it especially striking. Each seat has been upholstered by Mulliner craftsmen in a different colour, in accordance with Sir Peter’s design. The fluted, hand-stitched sports seats are trimmed in Cumbrian Green, Imperial Blue, Newmarket Tan and Hotspur – a multi-coloured theme that even extends to the hide steering wheel. Every headrest bears Sir Peter’s embroidered autograph, while on the treadplate, an inscription confirms the unique nature of the car: “Number 1 of 1”.
