Continental GT Speed

Whatever road you choose in life, do it from a position of unparalleled power and control.

From the moment your hands grasp the new Continental GT Speed’s sport steering wheel, you’re aware you’re taking control of Bentley’s ultimate two-door coupé. The twin-turbo engine produces an awe-inspiring 642 PS and 840 Nm of torque yet, thanks to the variable power assisted steering – which provides increased economy and reduced emissions – the drive remains precise through the most demanding corner.

The only equal of such limitless power is the exquisite refinement to be found in the Speed’s redesigned cabin, this introduces a more dynamic look to the upholstery, with a smaller, tighter diamond pattern in the hide.

If you love to drive far and fast but insist on travelling in absolute luxury, the Continental GT Speed awaits.

Exterior Design

The Continental GT Speed's redesigned front and rear spoiler give fresh expression to the heritage of Bentley grand touring. The matrix grille and air intakes of the Speed are in a dark-tint chrome finish and are matched to equally striking dark-tint front and rear lamps. The dark-tint 21" Speed alloy wheels are unique to this model, and are also available in silver, should you prefer. Large, elliptical exhaust tailpipes feature a rifled interior, while the engine note that emerges from them is deeper and more emphatic.

GT Speed Colour Split

Based on a single tone interior in any one of the 11 secondary hide options, the striking GT Speed Colour Split incorporates an accent colour from any one of the 17 main hide colours. The split includes contrast stitching to the arm rests, seats and steering wheel and a distinctive ‘stripe’ in the door and rear quarter panels as well as contrasts to the centre console and dashboard binnacle.

Mulliner Driving Specification

The name Mulliner has been associated with some of the greatest Bentleys of all time, including the iconic 'R' Type Continental of 1952. It is appropriate therefore that the Continental GT Speed is equipped with the Mulliner Driving Specification as standard.

Diamond quilted leather seats, indented leather headlining and embroidered winged 'B' emblems on the headrests add a touch of handcrafted distinction. Drilled alloy pedals, a knurled sports gear lever and jewel oil and fuel filler caps are inspired details from an inspiring heritage.

The Continental GT Speed represents Bentley performance at its most uncompromising: featuring all-wheel drive transmission, a chassis tune which delivers thrilling agility and a deeper and more exhilarating exhaust note, the GT Speed is capable of devastating acceleration and enduring pace.

With peak power of 642 PS, the Continental GT Speed is the most powerful model in the current two-door Bentley Continental family. A full throttle standing start sees 60 mph flash past in 3.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds). Top speed, should you have the opportunity to explore it, is 206 miles an hour.

Yet Bentley’s engineering team has ensured that the GT Speed engine and powertrain is just as fuel-efficient as the Continental GT, with refinements to the engine, transmission and turbocharger making an overall improvement of 13% in fuel economy.

By bringing the Speed models 10mm closer to the ground, Bentley's chassis engineering team laid the foundation for an even sportier driving experience. To do so they changed the springs, dampers, anti-roll bars and suspension bushes. The result is improved body control under hard cornering, together with greater agility.

Bentley’s engineering team has ensured that the new Speed Convertible W12 engine and powertrain is just as fuel-efficient as the Continental GT. The latest engine management system, an eight-speed transmission and careful refinement of the turbocharger settings have seen an overall improvement of 12% in fuel economy, with a commensurate increase in tank range compared to the previous generation model.

Continental GT Speed Black Edition

Continental GT Speed Black Edition

Can you improve on what is already the most powerful and exquisite Continental GT?

Indeed you can. The new Black Edition Continental GT Speed offers a host of striking colour schemes that visually embody the GT Speed’s phenomenal performance. Four dynamic colourways bestow even more road presence on this already-formidable car: Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red and Cyber Yellow.

With its lower ride height, the Black Edition feels even faster – and it looks faster, too. The brightware – which includes headlight and grille surrounds, lower body side strips and door handles – is no longer chrome, but has instead been finished in a brooding, evocative black, with all-black 21" Five-Spoke Directional Sports wheels to match.

Contrasting black or red brake callipers and optional colour-matched door mirrors bear further evidence of the power that lies underfoot.

This vibrant look runs seamlessly throughout the cabin – exhilaration and elegance co-existing in one sumptuous space. The sports steering wheel features contrast stitching and is hand-upholstered to match the Mulliner Design Seats and the satin finish Carbon Fibre fascia and console.

Also available is a new Black Edition interior colour split, with seats and centre console bordered by contrasting leather, available in Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or new Cyber Yellow to match the exterior styling accents. Corresponding contrast stitching accentuates the diamond quilting of the doors and Mulliner GT Design seats.

Experience the Black Edition to capture the essence, and the spontaneity, of what driving a Continental is all about - contact your Dealer to find out more.

Veneer Options

All Bentley wood veneers are cured for 72 hours and treated with five layers of clear lacquer by hand, to achieve a luxurious finish without compromising the natural beauty of the grain. The Continental GT Speed features Piano Black veneer as standard, but there is also a range of other ethically sourced veneers to choose from, alongside the more technical look that can be achieved with Carbon Fibre, Bright Tint Aluminium or Dark Tint Aluminium.

The dark tint aluminium finish is a unique sporting signature, exclusively available for GT Speed models. This technical finish has an assertive, dark presence and compliments the performance position of the Speed.
