Bentayga V8 driving on city road under overpass

The Bentayga range

2015-2020

The most luxurious, hand-built, all-terrain vehicle ever made: a car in which technology, speed and power came together to offer an extraordinary driving experience.

Bentayga is the first Bentley SUV

It's also the world's first true luxury SUV. Launched in 2015, Bentayga was named after the Roque Bentayga, on the island of Gran Cananria, Spain, and was designed, engineered and crafted to offer unprecedented levels of refinement and performance. Bentayga was created after consultation with Bentley owners and meticulous research to ensure this new model included the luxurious features and dynamic drive experience one expects of a Bentley.

After launching the first Bentayga with a W12 engine came the addition of Bentayga Diesel, then the luxurious Bentayga Mulliner. These were joined by the agile Bentayga V8 and the serene Bentayga Hybrid - Bentley's first step towards electrification. The final addition to the range was Bentayga Speed, which at launch was the world's fastest SUV, and remains amongst the quickest SUVs in the world.

In 2020, Bentley has launched the new Bentayga, the second generation of this luxurious SUV. With the new Bentayga range, Bentley continues to innovate and explore the possibilities which arise where ultimate luxury meets thrilling performance.

With its W12 petrol engine, the first generation Bentayga redefined what an SUV engine could do.
