A Stylish Partnership

Head of Exterior Design at Bentley, Sang Yup Lee, has designed two exclusive Flying Spurs for the Korean market. The two Mulliner Limited Edition models, designed by a Korean designer for Korean customers, highlight the very best of both cultures, from the British classic Savile Row suits to the finest Korean ceramics.

The design of these two exclusive cars is representative of Korean culture, where dynamic and static characteristics coexist. From the traditional Korean homes to the dynamic supporters of the Red Devils football team, Korean culture is as diverse as Bentley itself.

Dynamic. Refined. Sophisticated.

Inspired by the British design and fashion culture, one of the cars has a unique duo-tone colour split of Magnetic over Onyx, the first example of a duo-tone Flying Spur in Korea. The interior is trimmed with Burnt Oak and Saddle hide, a dynamic and unexpected contrast to the subtle and refined exterior.

The second car is inspired by Korean white and blue ceramics A Glacier White exterior is complemented by the two-tone Porpoise and Imperial Blue cabin.

A First Time for Everything

The interior of the cars has been designed and styled with the occupant in mind. Both cars were fitted with a rear stowage area discreetly placed into the centre console. For instant impact when the draw lid is opened, the stowage area has been lined in bespoke Mandarin colour and consists of an area for placing cufflinks and a favourite watch, a first for the Flying Spur. The rear centre console has also been modified by Mulliner to include an elegant veneered tissue holder. Comfort headrests and foot rests adorn the rear of the vehicle to ensure the rear passengers are relaxed at all times. For added pleasure, there are two matching cushions featuring Mulliner and GQ embroidery. In addition, a bespoke Mulliner GQ treadplate greets passengers when they enter the cabin.

Another Mulliner first is the eye-catching front centre console embroidered with the signature Mulliner Quilt pattern. The pattern also adorns the seat bolsters and doors.

These two striking vehicles are the first examples of the exceptional work that Bentley’s personal commissioning department can carry out. These cars truly are unique, they truly are Mulliner.
