An evolving design DNA
As the first execution of Bentley’s progressive new design vision, the Torcal’s silhouette is clean and minimalist, with satin silver exterior detailing, for a subtle, contemporary aesthetic.
The Floating Diamond Grille
The moment the car is unlocked, the Floating Diamond Grille gradually lights up, with all 76 hand-applied diamonds fading in from darkness to their full illuminated glory.
A stunning welcome light show
Welcome lamps installed in the underside of the doors project the Bentley ‘wings’ emblem onto the ground, lighting your way in the dark. It’s all part of a breathtaking welcome light sequence that also involves the headlamps, the tail lamps and the Floating Diamond Grille.
Muscular haunches and tailgate
The tailgate design is inspired by the luggage carrier of the historic ‘Blue Train’ Bentley. Below it, a gloss black ‘horseshoe’ emphasises the width of the vehicle, complementing its muscular haunches.
An abundance of natural light
The optional Frosted Diamond Switchable Sunroof allows sunlight to flood into the cabin from above. When shade is required, however, it can be activated instantly, silently switching the glass from clear to its frosted state. It can also be activated in sections, divided according to Bentley’s frosted diamond pattern.
A car that opens doors
If you commission the optional powered doors, they can be opened or closed at the touch of a button, a tap on the touchscreen or with the My Bentley smartphone app, among other methods. You can even open or close all the doors at once.
Exquisite veneers and switchgear
Handcrafted Ombre Walnut by Mulliner veneers add warmth and sophistication, while the satin finish of the switchgear and metal trim imbues the entire space with contemporary style.
An incredible curved touchscreen
Taking pride of place in the heart of the fascia is a beautiful, vertically curved, 12.25” HD touchscreen. The first OLED screen to be fitted in a Bentley, it offers sharp, fast visuals, with vivid colour and true blacks, even when viewing the screen in daylight.
New Bullseye Vector Sphere air vents
Inspired by Bentley’s classic Bullseye air vents, the new, 360-degree Bullseye Vector Sphere air vents deliver the sensation of a continuous ring of air, using two air streams that converge into a single vector, for more accurate direction, a more natural sensation and quieter operation.
An interior that responds to the way you drive
Far from just changing the way the car performs, the drive mode selector can also change the ambience in the cabin, combining sounds, seat settings, sunroof and the ambient lighting to match your selected driving dynamics, thanks to the new Curation Engine. There are four modes to choose from – Comfort, Sport, Bentley and Refresh – each of which offers a combination of different driving character and interior environment. Even the style of the on-screen graphics changes with the mode you select.
Electrostatic air filtration
An optional electrostatic air filtration system gives airborne particles an electrical charge as they enter the system, making them easier to remove. This enables the system to filter out 15 times more particles than traditional systems, for cleaner air at all times.
Seat features that boost your wellbeing
Options include Wellness Seating, which includes additional massaging in the seat cushions as well as the seat backs, plus heated armrests in the doors and centre console. It also includes two further features to enhance your wellbeing. Seat Auto Climate monitors the humidity and temperature at the surface of each front seat and uses the heating and ventilation functions to respond automatically. Postural Adjust, meanwhile, uses a series of air pockets inside each front seat to vary the pressure on your muscles throughout your journey, reducing fatigue.
Pure Merino wool
As an option, the cabin of the Torcal can be commissioned with a rich combination of pure Merino wool and handcrafted leather. Made especially for Bentley by the renowned British wool mill Fox Brothers, the wool fabrics are available in five colours, each a mix of two yarn colours that match the hide colours.
Hand-finished hides
The cabin features a sleek, single-colour upholstery pattern, comprising handcrafted leather for the lower parts of the cabin and suede-like Dinamica for the upper areas.
Dynamic Waterfall Lighting
The Dynamic Waterfall Lighting system uses more than 450 LEDs to provide beautiful, warm white ambient light inside the cabin, in a dynamically rendered display that even appears to react and move in response to the car’s acceleration, with realistic inertia. The single-colour version can be optionally upgraded to the stunning full colour version, for even more visual variation.
Advanced seat comfort
The front seats feature 16-way electrical adjustment, alongside heating, ventilation and massage functions, while the bench seat in the rear offers powered adjustment as well as heating for the two outer seat positions, with ventilation also available as an option.
A choice of astounding audio systems
The 16-speaker, 620-Watt Bentley Signature Audio system is installed as standard, however this can be upgraded to the optional Naim for Bentley sound system. Comprising 28 individual speakers delivering 1,780 Watts, this fully active system features individually configurable sound zones as well as Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 for unrivalled surround sound. It also includes speakers built invisibly into the driver’s headrest – both for a heightened audio experience, and the discreet delivery of information from the car, such as navigation instructions, without disturbing the other occupants. The Naim for Bentley system also includes satin metal speaker grilles, adding a refined visual detail to the cabin.
