Ducati Diavel for Bentley

Bespoke craft for bikers

In 2023, Ducati and Bentley collaborated on a limited-edition motorcycle to celebrate the best of both iconic brands: the Ducati Diavel for Bentley. Linking Ducati and Bentley with a vision of performance, craftsmanship and exclusivity, the project was a striking synthesis of technology, style and performance.

Inspired by the Bentley Batur

The collaboration with Ducati was inspired by the Bentley Batur – a coachbuilt car that was limited to just 18 bespoke examples, each one crafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s personal commissioning department.

Incredibly powerful, the Batur combined game-changing craftsmanship with sculptured, muscular bodywork that introduced a new design DNA for the Bentley brand.

Diavel for Bentley

Production of the Diavel for Bentley was limited to 500 numbered examples.

A collaboration between Bentley’s design team and the Centro Stile Ducati, the bike’s styling drew directly on that of the Batur. The aggressive lines of the Diavel V4 were therefore profoundly revised.

Many of the bodywork components, including the fenders, the radiator shrouds, the side panels, the tail piece and the headlamp, engine, exhaust, radiator and headlamp covers, were crafted from high quality carbon fibre. The Scarab Green colour, meanwhile, came directly from the Bentley Mulliner palette.

Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner

In addition to the 500 Diavel for Bentley bikes that were produced, a further 50 ‘Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner’ motorcycles were made available exclusively to Bentley customers. In homage to the coachbuilding heritage of the Bentley Batur, these bikes offered the virtually limitless personalisation opportunities for which Mulliner has long been renowned.

Precision-crafted seating
Flexible seat configuration
Dual outlet exhaust

Designed specifically for this bike and painted in Dark Titanium Satin, the wheels were inspired by those of the Batur.

The front mudguard, the fairing and the upper view of the tank recalled the ribs on the front bonnet of the Batur.

The side air intakes reflected the design of the Batur’s two-tone front grille, one of the car’s most recognisable elements.

The triangular rear extractors referred to the corresponding elements of the Batur.

The rider’s seat, in black Alcantara, was inspired by the interior of the car, and featured the Bentley logo embroidered on the rear pad.

The single-seater tail, which could be replaced with a passenger seat, took many styling cues from the rear of the Batur.

The dual outlet exhaust and its cover were redesigned to match the personality of this unique bike.
