The Story of Torcal

Inspired by one of Europe’s most extraordinary landscapes, the Torcal continues Bentley's modern approach to naming new models.

El Torcal de Antequera in Andalusia, Spain, is a dramatic limestone wilderness of stacked rock formations, cliffs and labyrinths, sculpted by nature over millions of years. The word “Torcal” shares the same root as ‘torque’ – referring to the twist of the wind that helped form the rock.

Landscape of inspiration

Like the landscape that inspired its name, the Torcal is shaped by powerful forces, combining strength and unmistakable character. But it’s more than a new name – the Torcal represents a new chapter for Bentley, joining the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga as a fourth model line in the marque’s contemporary range. New in concept yet Bentley to its core, the Torcal carries forward the craftsmanship and performance that have shaped the brand since 1919.
