It is perfect for open-top motoring through the summer and as comfortable as the coupe during the winter months. Its supercar performance is the result of an astonishing 700 bhp (710 PS) engine, harnessed with engineering innovations that include torque vectoring, developed by Bentley Motorsport.

With bold body styling and carbon fibre accents, the Continental Supersports Convertible looks every inch a supercar. The interior also delivers a stunning race-inspired design in the form of chequered carbon fibre to the fascia panels, and an optional three-tone interior colour split. Bold New Styling Features

The Continental Supersports Convertible is instantly recognisable from its brooding, striking looks, with unique design features that make it stand out from its siblings. With an unlimited choice of colours and unique colour splits, you can personalise the Supersports to reflect your own unique style.

Body styling features a bold new front and rear bumper design with carbon-fibre accents, while distinctive carbon-fibre bonnet vents and side skirts underscore the supercar capabilities even further. Full exterior Blackware on the radiator surround, light units, window surrounds, rear bumper and door handle inserts give the car a strikingly assertive look, as do the gloss black exhaust tailpipe finishes and wing vents. And the brooding image is completed by the dark tint front and rear lights, 21” Black and Bright Lightweight Forged Sports wheels and gloss black front radiator matrix grille – the first available on this generation of W12-powered Continentals.

An Eye-Catching Interior

Slide behind the wheel and you will discover an interior that continues the powerful sporting theme from outside, creating a look that is particularly powerful when the top is lowered. It features unique large chequered carbon-fibre fascia plates with Supersports branding on the passenger side fascia plate. This is also repeated on the treadplates.

Supersports emblems are stitched onto the headrests, while Supersports diamond quilting to the seat centres and side panels enhances the car’s distinctive look.

This is the first time a three-tone interior has been available on the new Continental; you can choose from a wide variety of coloured hides and, to maximise the sporting look, select perforated black Alcantara.

A unique Supersports steering wheel and gear lever provide the finishing touches.

Perfection 365 Days A Year

The Supersports Convertible is the perfect spring, summer, autumn and winter car. In winter, the four-layer roof keeps the interior as insulated and warm as a coupé. With the roof down on those bright, crisp winter days, optional neck warmers on the seats ensure you are comfortable and focused on your drive. In warmer weather when the roof is closed, switch on optional front seat ventilation with silent running fans that draw excess heat out of the backrest and cushion, keeping you perfectly cool.

Engineered To Perfection

The Continental Supersports Convertible is built around the most powerful W12 engine that Bentley has ever developed, now producing a remarkable 700 bhp (710 PS) and 1,017Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds) to a blistering top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), an amazing experience, especially when the top is down.

Torque vectoring, combined with a reduced, unsprung mass increases responsiveness through corners for a truly performance-focused drive, working with the rear-biased torque split of the permanent all-wheel drive system that sends 60% of the engine output to the rear wheels. A titanium exhaust system enhances the sound of the engine, highlighting its true supercar presence and making top-down driving even more thrilling.

True Supercar performance

High capacity turbochargers and a charge-air cooling system work in tandem to boost the car’s power output. To harness this additional thrust, the cranktrain includes special bearings. Together, these innovations increase power by 79 bhp (80 PS) and 217 Nm (160 lb-ft.) over the original Continental Supersports Convertible. In simple terms, this translates into a breath-taking top speed that is 5 mph faster, shaving 0.2 seconds off the car’s 0 to 60 mph time.

The Continental Supersports Convertible features a torque converter that locks up supremely quickly, allowing the car to make the most of its phenomenal 1,017 Nm (750 lb–ft.) of torque. In practical terms, it means you can accelerate from standstill more rapidly than ever. High-performance carbon ceramic brakes with enhanced cooling make all this power easily controllable. The brake discs provide excellent performance with minimal fade under extreme conditions. The brakes sit behind lightweight 21” forged alloy wheels, offering a combined 25kg weight saving in unsprung mass.

Bentley Continental GT Convertible, technology

Interior Technology

The Continental Supersports Convertible includes a wealth of technology designed to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Its infotainment system is built around an 8" high resolution screen embedded in the handcrafted fascia, incorporating AM/FM radio and an optional Sirius satellite radio*, alongside navigation, suspension adjustment and controls for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. When parking, the screen displays a graphic representation of the distance to any obstacles, in combination with audible warnings. Bluetooth® wireless connectivity makes it easy to pair the car with phones and other mobile devices, while a DVD/CD player and SD card slot make it easy to enjoy content on other media.

Torque Vectoring

The impressive performance in the Continental Supersports Convertible has been made possible by torque vectoring. The system analyses the driver’s inputs to the accelerator and steering wheel to brake individual front and rear wheels during acceleration out of corners, to deliver supercar performance. It will also brake the inside rear wheel on turning to improve the car’s agility. The Continental Supersports Convertible also features a bespoke stability control calibration – delivering a very precise chassis response.

The torque vectoring harmonises with the 60:40 rear bias torque distribution of Bentley’s all-wheel drive, to give the Continental Supersports Convertible better balance and sporting character. It sits within the Electronic Stability Control system, which brings together the antilock brakes, traction control and stability control systems, all of which have been calibrated for agility and performance.

Unique Colour and Choice

Like all Bentleys, the Continental Supersports Convertible offers a choice of colours and personalisation options that allows you to create a car that is truly yours. The hood can be commissioned in your choice of eight colours, while a unique interior colour split adds even more visual appeal, utilising three colours for a distinctive look. It incorporates luxurious perforated Alcantara in black or a choice of 11 single coloured hides as standard. The Continental Supersports diamond quilting design to the seat centres and side panels adds a unique look for the Continental Supersports Convertible.

Optional neck warmers on the seats make top-down driving a pleasure on the coldest, crispest days. Stay cool on the hottest days with the optional front seat ventilation system that draws out excess heat from the backrest and cushion with silent-running fans.
