Bentley Team Absolute competes in FIA GT World Cup

Bentley Team Absolute has arrived in Macau for the FIA GT World Cup 2016 and has unveiled the one-off livery for Adderly Fong’s (HK) Continental GT3.

The GT World Cup is the annual showdown for GT3 competitors from around the world and is considered one of the most prestigious and highly-coveted sprint races in the sportscar racing calendar.

Fong’s Spark-sponsored Continental GT3 will be one of 23 GT cars - on the 6.12 km-long street circuit that sits 65 km west of Hong Kong.

“The Macau street circuit offers a uniquely vibrant and exciting atmosphere and this is reflected in Bentley Team Absolute’s one-off livery,” commented Bentley Team Absolute’s Team Principal Ingo Matter.

“It’s a difficult race – overtaking isn’t easy on the narrow streets and red flags are often disruptive – but Adderly is in a great place. He’s experienced here at Macau and has had some great success in the Continental GT3 here in Asia so we’re feeling quite confident.”

Adderly Fong is one of Hong Kong’s most successful racers. The ex-F1 test driver has raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and has won multiple races across Asia. Most recently, he helped Bentley Team Absolute to retain its GT Asia Teams’ championship title and took a double-win in the final round of China GT.

The FIA GT World Cup starts 12.55 local time on Sunday 20 November. Fans can follow the team’s race weekend on Twitter using @BentleyRacing and can watch the livestream at:
