Bentley Team Absolute Racing wins in Japan
Absolute Racing claimed an impressive victory in Round 4 of the GT Asia series at the Okayama race track in Japan in June 2015, after a weekend of close and dramatic racing.
The weekend saw two hotly competed sprint races, with with hundredths of a second between the competing teams in the qualifying round. Bentley Team Absolute put in a strong performance in race one, however were unable to establish a winning place.
In round four, on the second day of racing, Bentley Team Absolute were victorious in a close finish, and driver Andy Soucek took a narrow victory.
Absolute Driver Adderly Fong - 方駿宇 also claimed an impressive pole position, the Hong Kong driver just three tenths off the pole time of Andy Soucek, Craft Bamboo Racing between them in position two.
This win puts Fong and fellow driver Sawa in second place for the driver points championship.
The next race dates are 17th to 19th July 2015 at Fuji International Speedway, where the 5th and 6th rounds of the Championship will take place.
