Bentley Grand Convertible unveiled in LA
The Bentley Grand Convertible made its global debut at the LA Auto Show on the 17th of November, 2014, receiving unanimous approval.
It combines the driving experience of Mulsanne with the indulgence of open-air touring. As a development of our iconic Mulsanne design it adds elegant detailed touches that enhance its luxury appeal.
The striking curves and muscular haunches of the car were complemented by a Sequin Blue exterior with a ‘liquid metal’ finish to the bonnet and windscreen frame. Inside, the upholstery has a new ‘lofted’ quilting design, and the convertible’s signature feature is the largest book-matched veneer tonneau cover ever created.
Bentley Chairman and CEO, Wolfgang Duerheimer, who unveiled the car in Los Angeles, commented. “This concept demonstrates Bentley’s ability to create a pinnacle convertible Grand Tourer, while embodying elegance beyond compare.”
