Bentley collaborates with top London men's grooming salon

Bentley crafts men and women based at the Home of Bentley in Crewe have renovated six barbers’ chairs, incorporating materials and finishes from luxury Bentley cars.

Both Bentley and Pankhurst London share a commitment to peerless quality, contemporary style and modern luxury which combine to make the partnership one of true excellence.

“Working with Pankhurst has given us the opportunity to show this craft in an innovative and exciting way to create a unique experience in London’s finest barber shop. Only Bentley could make such exquisite and beautiful chairs.”

The project combines both Bentley’s luxury leather trim and the Mulliner special commissioning department. Eight hides were used in the development and production of Bentley’s unique chair covers, also featuring bespoke Bentley and Pankhurst embroidery.

The chairs’ arms were refabricated by grafting new wood onto the structure to replace the redundant ashtrays, and the suspension system within the chairs was reworked to improve the level of comfort. Hand-sculptured new headrest foams were also produced in an improved density material to further enhance the sense of wellbeing. Finally, colour combinations were chosen by the Bentley colour and trim team in conjunction with Pankhurst.
