Past Models

This page contains Bentley models from our recent past. See how Bentley's design DNA runs through our cars from our first Bentley cars like the racing Blower to the Bentleys of today.

This same design language is expressed in the eye-catching lines of Bentley's first model for the new millenium, the first generation Continental GT. This created a new design bluepint for Bentley, expressed in the Continental Flying Spur sedan and the Continental Supersports performance coupe.

The Continental GT3-R has taken its style and performance cues from track racing, as part of the impressive Continental second generation range which also includes the Continental GT V8 and V8 S, second generation Continental GT Speed and the 2017 Continental Supersports.

In 2015 Bentley launched its first SUV - Bentayga. Whilst the Bentayga range exhibits both luxurious interiors and impressive performance throughout, Bentayga Mulliner was designed as the most luxurious expression of the SUV.

The Bentley Flying Spur was the impressive second generation of Bentley's four door sedan.  Available with both a W12 engine and V8, the Flying Spur was available in the most powerful W12 S, which also featured a number of luxurious features as standard,  to the most agile, the V8 S, which was the model's most sporting variant, with exterior design touches that emphasised its dynamic character.

The Mulsanne Range (2009-2020):

Bentley Mulsanne has been the flagship model of the Bentley range since its launch in 2009. The world’s finest handmade car represented the ultimate combination of both luxury and performance. The Mulsanne range offered a choice of three remarkable vehicles: the Mulsanne, the Mulsanne Speed for more dynamic driving and, for those who prefer to travel in the back with extra legroom and comfort, the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase.

The Mulsanne range has a formidable road presence courtesy of its crisp, sharp lines and the sweeping curves of the superformed aluminium bodywork, instantly recognisable as a modern interpretation of classic Bentley design. This pinnacle sedan features refined and luxurious automotive interiors, where drive time becomes time to think. Only the finest hides and most exquisite veneers are used throughout the cabin. A glance also reveals an environment rich with possibilities for personalisation.

The last Mulsanne was hand-built at the Bentley Crewe factory in July 2020, with a final special edition celebrating the life of this pinnacle sedan:  the Bentley Mulsanne 6.75 Edition. This edition features interior and exterior design cues reflecting the 6.75 litre engine, including Grand Black fascias and waistrails, with the waistrails having dark engine spin insert and a dark tint Mulliner Serenity
grille.

Flying Spur (2005-2018)

The Bentley Flying Spur was created to be a superlative four door sedan -  for drivers and passengers alike.  Launched in 2005, the first generation Continental Flying Spur was launched as a four-door saloon sibling to the 2003 Continental coupe, retaining the performance values of the GT, while offering the space, convenience and refinement that only a luxury grand touring sedan can offer. Available in both a Speed version, where performance was amplified and the design echoed its sporting character, and Series 51 - where design values were paramount and  for the first time a three-tone interior was offered.

The signature W12 Flying Spur was followed by an agile V8, a V8 S for the most sporting offering, and the final Flying Spur for the second generation was the Flying Spur W12 S. Launched in 2016 the Flying Spur W12 S balanced a sportier character to the powerful W12 engine with the a high specification interior including both design and comfort specifications and exclusive design elements.

In 2019 Bentley launched the New Flying Spur, bringing every element of Bentley’s extraordinary DNA together in perfect, seamless balance. Effortless performance, sculpted design and masterful technology combine to create a luxury grand tourer that is as graceful as it is commanding, as dynamic as it is poised. Read more about new Flying Spur here.

The Continental Range (2003-2018)

In 2003 a stunning, two-door Bentley was unveiled, one that refined and redefined the language of grand tourer design. The revolutionary Continental GT has combined phenomenal performance and exquisite craftsmanship for more than a decade, with continual enhancements pushing the boundaries of technology, from sheer power to the choice of finishes.

When it was launched, a single W12 model was available, one that set the benchmark for everything that was to come. A convertible variant followed, then the more performance-focused Continental GT Speed, providing even more power and sporting luxury. And in 2009, the first Continental Supersports was engineered to deliver a more thrilling drive than ever.

A stunning second act
In 2010, the Continental was redesigned, with this second generation soon to feature a 4.0 litre V8 engine alongside the now-famous W12 version. The engines became more efficient, thanks to innovative technology such as variable displacement, allowing the car to deactivate half of its cylinders automatically, seamlessly re-engaging them when required.

The racetrack-inspired Continental GT3-R was added in 2014 and, in 2017, the second iteration of the Continental Supersports, delivering an astonishing 700 bhp (710 PS).

In 2019 Bentley launched the new Continental GT range, redefining the grand tourer category. From the unrivalled attention to detail inside the cabin, to the formidable combination of exhilarating yet effortless performance. Read more here.

Bentayga (2015-2020)

Bentayga is the first Bentley SUV - also the world's first true luxury SUV. Launched in 2015, Bentayga was designed, engineered and crafted to offer unprecedented levels of refinement and performance. After launching the first Bentayga with a W12 engine came the addition of Bentayga Diesel, then the luxurious Bentayga Mulliner. These were joined by the agile Bentayga V8 and the serene Bentayga Hybrid - Bentley's first step towards electrification. The final addition to the range was Bentayga Speed, which at launch was the world's fastest SUV, and remains amongst the quickest SUVs in the world.

This modern SUV’s exterior features a muscular powerline -  the sharply-defined crease that draws your eye from the front wheel along the side of the car  It is complimented by a B-shaped wing vent, extensive brightware and large, impressive wheels which add a further level of striking detail.

The interior of this refined car is beautifully handcrafted, too. Sustainably sourced wood veneers are carefully selected, cut and matched to create a seamless ‘ring of wood’ around the driver and passengers. A panoramic sunroof allows light to reflect off the solid metal detailing with precision-knurled finish and the hand-stitched leather interior features, while optional mood lighting can be adjusted to refine the atmosphere of the cabin.

In 2020, Bentley has launched the new Bentayga, the second generation of this luxurious SUV. With the new Bentayga range, Bentley continues to innovate and explore the possibilities which arise where ultimate luxury meets thrilling performance. Read more here.
