Bentley in India

September 2007 saw the official introduction of the Azure and Continental GTC in India.

To support the launch there were 3 separate events which took place across India in Hyberabad – the Capital State of Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai – the Capital state of Maharashtra and Dehli in Northern India.

Each launch event was a huge success and is testament to the growing strength of this promising emerging market.

Speaking at the Mumbai launch event, which also featured an exclusive fashion show, Mr. Ian Hession, Regional Sales Manager, Bentley Middle East Africa & India, said, “Azure & Continental GTC epitomizes how responsive Bentley is to satisfying their aspirations. Bentley develops and produces cars that people desire and that are faithful to our heritage. The new Azure & Continental GTC are the perfect examples of this philosophy.”

The launch of these two convertibles confirms Bentley’s commitment to the Indian market & the importance we place on satisfying the ever growing affinity of customers, by offering the latest from Bentley’s stable globally.

2007 has also seen Bentley celebrate 4 years of Bentley in India.  Over the past 4 years we have worked very hard to raise Brand awareness and introduce a number of customers in India and surrounding countries to Bentley, with an aim to provide customers with the ultimate Bentley ownership experience.

To mark the 4 year anniversary, celebrations were also combined with the Delhi launch event, which was held at the British High Commissioner’s residence, and attended by over 300 people, including Mr & Mrs Richard Stag.  The elaborate evening consisted of an acrobatic ballet and rope show and a fashion show by 2 of India’s top designers: Rohit Ghandi and Rahul Khanna.
