The Bentley Styling and Design team stage Charity Art Auction.

An invitation-only gala auction of unique pieces created by the Bentley Styling and Design team raised more than £70,000 for The Christie cancer hospital in Manchester.

Staged at the exclusive Bonhams auction house, London, over 300 guests took part in the live bidding and silent auction to raise money for The Christie, a specialist cancer centre in Manchester, which treats 40,000 patients a year and is an international leader in cancer research.

The collection included a vast array of sculptures, paintings, digital art and photography all created by Bentley’s in-house design team, who are better known for the creation of iconic cars, such as the Continental GT and the new Bentley Mulsanne.

Bentley designer Richard Gilmartin has been raising funds to support the charity since 2001 and was the inspiration behind the exceptional project. Richard has now raised over £100,000 in recognition of their work.
